Event Policy

Every scene

Localhost lists events with a door, by scene: tech, music, nightlife, comedy, church programmes and weddings. Within tech that means meetups, hackathons, conferences, summits, demo days, workshops, launch parties and founder dinners. Anything else is declined at review, however well organized.

Code of conduct

Every event on Localhost runs under a code of conduct. Hosts must name a contact for reports and act on them. Harassment of any kind results in removal from the event and the platform.

Honest pages

Speakers, sponsors and prices shown on the page must be real and confirmed. Capacity must be respected.

Refunds

Hosts set a refund window and honour it. Cancelled events are refunded in full automatically.

Recording

If you record, say so on the page. Attendees may opt out of appearing in photos and video.

Enforcement

We review new hosts and new events. Repeated violations remove the community from Localhost.
