Tech happens IRL.
Localhost is the event platform built for every scene in your city, tech first. We started it because the tools for running a meetup, a hackathon or a demo day were made for everything, and therefore for nothing.

Why
Every tech scene runs on the same broken stack: a page maker made for birthday parties, a Google Form for the CFP, a spreadsheet for sponsors, a WhatsApp group for the day-of chaos, and a clipboard at the door. Discovery is worse. If you land in Berlin or London this week and want to know what's on for builders, there is no single place to look.
Localhost fixes both. One page that knows what a speaker, a sponsor and a hackathon team are. One hub per city with every scene on it, each as its own clean page. Communities with followers who hear first. Free for free events, one flat fee on paid ones.
What we believe
- Every scene, each its own page. Discovery only works when a filter gives you a clean page. Tech came first; music, nightlife, comedy and church followed the same way.
- Communities are the unit. An event is a moment; a community is a graph. Followers get every future event, and every event grows the community.
- The room is the product. Who else is going, with role and company, is the reason people show up. It is opt-in and only visible to ticket holders.
- Free means free. No caps, no upsell wall, no service-fee page for attendees. We earn on paid tickets and sponsor slots.
- Global from day one. USD, EUR and GBP, receipts with company and VAT, and cities on three continents.

san franciscoWhere we are
Fifteen cities, starting with San Francisco, New York, London and Berlin. The platform is being built in the open; this site is the prototype and the product launches to the first communities next. Founded in 2026, built remotely, headed for the cities where people build.
